"Use a disposable plastic bag to create something new today."I made fused plastic, courtesy of this Etsy tutorial, and fashioned a flower out of it. Once I figure out what is wrong with my sewing machine, I'll probably use the other pieces to make a small coin purse or something similar.
I've wanted to to try that. . . was it easy? What's wrong with your sewing machine? I apparently am really lazy and hate changing my needle. . . that usually fixes my problems. :)
ReplyDeleteit was SUPER easy! i've had that link saved in my bookmarks literally for several years and have never tried it until now. the first attempt wasn't great - i tried it with too large of a piece, and part of it got a bit melted through. the 2nd try, with a smaller piece, was totally fine!
ReplyDeletenot sure about my sewing machine. it was made the same year i was born, so it could be anything. my mom looked at it and couldn't figure it out either. i have another one i can use - just haven't gotten around to setting it up yet.
